the Shakespeare Teacher
Most of the e-mail I receive from teachers
deals with the issue of the best print resources for teaching Shakespeare. The
following list contains some of my favorite Shakespeare resources.

Teaching
Shakespeare by Rex Gibson Cambridge School Shakespeare 0-521-57788-8 The Cambridge School Shakespeare series of plays is absolutely phenomenal. Rex Gibson adds another amazing book to the series with Teaching Shakespeare. This book contains everything from the "Why teach Shakespeare" question to the "How to teach Shakespeare" solution! I saw Rex speak at both the NCTE's 1st and 2nd International Institutes on Teaching Shakespeare through Performance, and he is truly an amazing person. I highly recommend this book! |
